Christine Kaveski, M.A.,  LMHC

Christine Kaveski is a licensed mental health counselor in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She believes the first step to successful therapy is establishing a safe, inviting space. Christine is passionate about creating a therapeutic alliance that allows the individual to explore their authentic self. In particular, Christine enjoys using art, mindfulness, and holistic modalities with her clients.

 

Christine received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University in 2017. She received her bachelor’s degree in Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University in 2015. With undergraduate and graduate requirements combined, Christine has completed 5 clinical internships working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with various mental health and substance use diagnoses. She has spent her post-graduate years working with adults in outpatient settings.

 

Christine has spent time working with individuals with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, new or chronic addiction, change of life events, and complex trauma. Christine utilizes various practices in her sessions including CBT, ACT, IFS, Existential and Attachment theory.
